Dr. Schraw is originally from West Columbia, South Carolina. She has been fascinated with teeth since she was 3-years old. Dr. Schraw earned a B.S. in Biology from U.S.C.-Columbia, and later attended the M.U.S.C. College of Dental Medicine in Charleston. After graduating from the M.U.S.C. college in 2002, she worked as an associate for three years in a private Rock Hill practice, where she gained invaluable experience. In August of 2005, Dr. Schraw opened her own practice, Smiles By Design, in the Baxter Village community in Fort Mill. She has completed many continuing education courses with leaders in the dental field and continually stays abreast of the latest dental techniques, materials, and technology.

Currently, Dr. Schraw and her husband Glendon live in Tega Cay with their two children, two dogs, and one cat. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, spin cycling, speed walking, weight lifting, reading, and playing with her children.
